The German Journal of Sports Medicine encourages and supports data sharing between researchers. The quality of shared data will be assessed during peer review processes. Furthermore, reviewers evaluate if shared data and published results in the submission align. During a submission in GJSM, authors are asked to declare their support of data sharing by choosing one of the following options.

1.    Support of data sharing on request on reasonable reasons

2.    Publication of data after an embargo period

3.    Storage of data in repository place
