All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. Plagiarism is serious, unethical and dishonest. Therefore, the German Journal of Sports Medicine declines every type of plagiarism fully. The GJSM reserves the right to initiate steps to detect, prevent and pursue acts of plagiarism. Further tools will be used.
